Maybe it’s not fair to compare the two publications that are so removed in time from one another. In addition, the nature of DIY repairs has changed. I’ve done tons of repairs on my cars and others that had nothing at all to do with engines or transmissions. Come to think of it, most of the repairs I’ve done in the past two decades were on things that my GTO didn’t even have!
